Two books.
Fresh inspiration.
At the Both/AND Book Club, experienced professionals explore two deliberately contrasting books that challenge how we think about work, change, leadership, and progress.
Half of us read one book, half read the other.
Then we come together to uncover connections, navigate tensions, and dig in on how exactly to apply it to our work.
Join our inaugural session featuring The Science of Change by Richard Boyatzis and a TBD club-elected book.
Join us…
You are: an internal or external coach, consultant or leader, with 15+ years experience, whose own work helps improve the state of work for individuals or teams.
You love books, big ideas, and learning in community…but you’re short on time, kindred peers, or wherewithal.
How we meet…
Both/And is entirely virtual, intentionally facilitated, and conscientious of your packed calendar.
We’ll meet just three times: one 60-minute orientation and warm up, and two 90-minute discussions at a mid-point and closing.
We offer optional opportunities for additional, unscheduled community reflections, and handy summaries and notes to consider at a later date.
What we read…
Broadly speaking, we’re curious about making work work better—both individually and systemically.
We’re actively curating our TBR, looking out for thought-provoking yet accessible resources, with a healthy skepticism for fads du jour and management hokum.
And we consider all formats—audio, paged, or condensed—fair game.
